Well, pennants is over for grade 2 and grade 4 and though neither team ended up the winners, we all had a great time and were lucky we escaped the really hot weather.

Our grade 1 team continues to do well  in their longer comp and are receiving plenty of support to watch their fabulous bowls.

ANOTHER fabulous social night for our Cynthia’s birthday, when we all ended up at the opera house for a show after several stops for food and drinks.

Congratulations to Gill Barton (above), who won our coveted Rupert award for 2017 at our presentation night.

What a night we had when we visited Bankstown for the Women’s Bowls NSW awards night and our Jenny Palmer  (above) won the award for club official of the year. This award covers outstanding contributions to the club, including coaching, umpiring, and the many other things Jenny does beyond the call of duty.

AFTER A VERY close game, Jenny Hepburn came out the consistency winner from Midori Matsuoka and our patron Joan Hodge (above left) presented her with the trophy.

OUR TEAM, of Elizabeth Blackwell (left), Jenny Palmer and Jenny Hepburn won the regional triples against Harbord and are now through to the State. a very large contingent of Neutral Bay bowlers had a great day cheering at Chatswood and then we all went to lunch.

AND OF COURSE, our St Ives Top Five  trophy winners are used to hiding their lights under a bushel. but here they are after winning against some very strong competition from all over Sydney. Here they are, from left Midori, Jenny P, Maggie, Jenny H and Elizabeth.

We were all very pleased that JENNY HEPBURN was selected for the Over 60s Metro team.
